At the moment Nynke is working on a performance with Noord Nederlandse Dans. For a few months now the making of TIDAL is in full swing with choreographer Stephen Shropshire, electronic composer Anne Parlevliet and the dancers. This collaboration comes out of a shared desire to push artistic borders, out of curiosity for the possibilities of the combination of body and voice, sound and movement. From when she was young Nynke loves (contemporary) dance and she considers this project as a great artistic challenge.
On the 30th and the 31st of May there was a presentation of the work-in-progress. The first part of TIDAL, 'Undertow' was shown at Parkdans in Eindhoven and in the Stadsschouwburg in Groningen.
This part will be shown once more at the Uitmarkt Amsterdam on Sunday the 29th of August at 5.30 p.m. in the Stadsschouwburg.
With tomorrow night (29 Aug) there's an item about TIDAL at Kunstof TV. At 6.25 p.m. Ned 2.
The performance will have its premiere the 21st of October in the Stadsschouwburg Groningen and afterwards it will tour through Holland (agenda).
