LA CALAVERA

One of the Mexican female figures that got a place in the show De Maisfrou, drawn by Nynke when she was in Mexico City. La Calavera means animated skeleton. In Mexico the idea is common that life is inextricably bound up with death. The best reason to celebrate life.
